Oktoberfest / Munich – Dates

Oktoberfest is an annual beer festival held in Munich, Germany every year. The festival begins on the 3rd Saturday of every September and ends on the 1st Sunday of October. It’s called Oktoberfest because the first festival was held on October 10, 1810, to commemorate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese Saxe-Hildburghausen.
